Terms of Service
Last updated: October 23, 2026
These terms cover the AI phone receptionist service provided by RCS Innovations LLC ("RCS Innovations", "we", "us"), an Idaho limited liability company (Idaho Secretary of State file no. 0005903754) based in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Part 1 covers text messages we send to callers and business owners. Part 2 covers businesses that sign up for the service.
Part 1: SMS Terms
Program description
RCS Innovations sends text messages on behalf of the local business you contacted. Messages include:
- Appointment confirmations, changes and reminders for appointments you booked with that business
- Replies to your request or message to that business
- Alerts to business owners and staff about new calls, messages and bookings (for Business Clients who sign up for them)
We do not send marketing or promotional messages through this program.
How you opt in
You opt in by asking for text confirmations or updates during your call or booking with the business, or, for business owners and staff, by turning on text alerts during setup. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies based on your appointments and requests. Callers typically receive a few messages per appointment.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply. Check your mobile plan for details.
Opt out and help
- Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. We will send one message confirming you are unsubscribed, and no more after that. You can also reply END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE or QUIT.
- Reply HELP for help, or email us at realcomputerscientist@gmail.com.
- To start receiving texts again after opting out, reply START.
Carriers
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy
We handle your information as described in our Privacy Policy. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
Part 2: Terms for Business Clients
These terms apply to businesses that use our service ("you"). A separate order or written agreement may add details such as plan, price and start date; if it conflicts with these terms, the order wins.
The service
We set up and run an AI receptionist that answers your business calls, books appointments on your calendar according to rules you give us, takes messages, and sends confirmations and alerts. Setup is done for you. The receptionist is automated software: it can misunderstand a caller or make a mistake, and it is not an emergency service. You remain responsible for your services, prices, scheduling decisions and your dealings with your customers.
Your responsibilities
- Give us accurate business information and keep it current.
- Have the right to connect the phone numbers, calendars and accounts you give us.
- Comply with laws that apply to you, including those on call recording and messaging consent.
- Don't use the service for unlawful, harassing or spam calls or messages.
Billing
The service is prepaid. Fees for each billing period are charged in advance at the price in your order. Usage beyond your plan, if any, is billed as stated in your order. Fees are non-refundable except where these terms or the law say otherwise. If a payment fails, we may pause the service until it is paid.
Cancellation
You can cancel at any time by emailing us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current prepaid period, and the service runs until then. We may suspend or end the service if you break these terms, with notice where practical. After the service ends, we delete your data as described in our Privacy Policy; ask us before then if you want an export.
Data and privacy
Call information belongs to you and your callers. We process it on your behalf to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Disclaimer
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We work to keep it reliable, but we don't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that every call will be answered or booked correctly. Phone, internet, AI and calendar providers we rely on can have outages outside our control.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, RCS Innovations is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue or business, including from missed or mishandled calls or bookings. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.
Changes
We may update these terms. We will post the new version here and tell active Business Clients of significant changes at least 30 days before they apply. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Bonneville County, Idaho.
